We sleep better and better at
Resort Belvedere.
We haven't booked an excursion for today, so there's no alarm clock, but we still wake up
at 7 am.
After showering, we walk to the breakfast room where we have an extensive breakfast with
good coffee.
After breakfast we walk along the boulevard to the local supermarket to buy water, beer and
such.
We bring the groceries to the room, and there we decide that we want to go to the old town
of Vrsar, and that is quite a climb.
But there is a little train, on the internet we find the route, including to the old town,
but we can't figure out where the little train stops.
We walk to the reception, maybe they can give us some information, and by sheer coincidence
we see a lady from TUI, and she is kind enough to help us.
The train stops at the beginning of the boulevard.
We walk there and find the train, and we buy two tickets for €10.
It's quite a drive, first through the outskirts of Vrsar, but eventually we arrive in the
old town centre, on top of a hill.
Then we have to search for a while, but eventually we arrive at a square with a few
restaurants and a shop, Aura, where local products are sold.
And then we also arrive at the church and the church tower.
We also look inside the church, we don't go up the tower, you have to pay and Tom is afraid
of heights.
Then we walk a bit through the centre, which looks nice with narrow streets, old and often
well-maintained houses, and with a few squares.
Back on the square where we first came, we look inside the Aura shop, and that results in us
coming out again with cheese, sausage and a kind of grappa.
Finally we have a drink there on the terrace of Trabaco Wine Bar.
Then we walk down, the slopes are not too bad and on the way we stop in a small park to eat the sandwiches we brought from the hotel.
Back at the hotel we decide to try the Thai massage that is given there along the sea.
Tom wants a half hour foot massage, Pia an hour neck, shoulders and back massage.
And it is better massage than expected.
In the evening we eat again at the Real Lover Grill of the hotel.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
